中文摘要:本計畫提出一個新型的平面平衡式功率分配器,並具備寬頻的差動帶通響應。在奇模態下此功率分配器整合兩個寬頻帶通濾波器,每個濾波器是由四分之一波長短路單株與傳輸線所組成。在偶模態下,短路單株變成開路單株,在中心頻率造成傳輸零點,產生共模抑制效果。報告中提供分析與設計公式,並實作一個2.45-GHz的平衡式功率分配器加以量測驗證,量測的20 dB差模反射損失與3 dB差模傳輸頻寬分別為44.5% 和53.7%。利用電容來補償電阻元件以及貫孔本身的雜散電感效應,可以有效改善差模隔離度15 dB頻寬至24.3%。此電路並具備寬頻的共模抑制效果,20 dB共模抑制頻寬至少42%,而在中心頻率下量到的模態之間轉換S參數均低於 –20 dB。在頻率1 GHz – 3.38 GHz範圍內,均可維持 ±1-dB 振幅不平衡和 ±5° 相位不平衡,而差模通帶範圍內群延遲變異也在4.7%以內。全波分析結果與量測值也有很好的一致性,整個電路的尺寸約在1.06 波長× 0.68 波長。
英文摘要:A planar balanced-to-balanced power divider with wide differential-mode bandpass response is for the first time presented. In the odd-mode half circuit, the power divider integrates two wideband bandpass filters utilizing short-circuited quarter-wavelength stubs. In the even mode, the quarter-wavelength stubs are open-circuited and reject common-mode signals. Analysis and design methodology are included. To validate the proposed design, a balanced-to-balanced power divider operating at 2.45 GHz was designed and fabricated. In the differential mode, bandwidths of 20-dB return loss and 3-dB insertion loss are 44.5% and 53.7%, respectively. With a capacitor to compensate the parasitic inductance of the resistor and via, a bandwidth of 24.3% for isolation larger than 15-dB in the differential mode is realized. Wideband rejection of common-mode transmission is also obtained. The bandwidth of 20-dB common-mode rejection is at least 42%. The measured magnitudes of mode conversion are less than –20 dB near the center frequency. ±1-dB amplitude imbalance and ±5° phase imbalance are achieved in the frequency range of 1 – 3.38 GHz. Group-delay variation of 4.7% in the differential-mode passband is also obtained. Full-wave simulated results shows good consistency with the measured data. The implemented circuit occupies an area of 1.06 wavelength × 0.68 wavelength.
